    Under the supervision of the Senior Commodity Buyer, the procurement coordinator supports procurement management of raw materials for the mills; plans procurement of various ingredients depending on inventory levels covered by contracts with suppliers; communicates with suppliers, and conducts follow-ups according to the terms of trade agreements and delivery; oversees tracking and inventory management into the ERP system.

    • Records within the computer system (ERP) procurement transactions for the mills;
    • Analyzes raw materials costs;
    • Processes required orders;
    • Tracks and compiles forecasts for eastern Québec.
    • Manages logistics connected to the procurement requirements of the mills;
    • Helps solving procurement problems (risk analysis/back orders);
    • Maintains records: inventory report, terms of delivery;
    • Collects information on inventory and supplier management.

    • Bachelor in Business Administration (Procurement/Operations Management or Operations Engineering), or related training; specialization in procurement will be considered an asset;
    • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in procurement management;
    • Knowledge of procurement management using an integrated management system (ERP);
    • Knowledge of the agricultural community is an asset.

    • Able to communicate effectively;
    • Ability with numbers;
    • Good organization skills;
    • Good interpersonal and customer service skills;
    • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Integrated Management System (ERP);
    • Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and able to multitask;
    • Bilingual (English and French), both written and spoken.
