Our client, a company that designs furniture to rent for events, is looking for a Sales and Marketing Representative to join their dynamic and growing team. We are searching for a professional who can drive and generate revenue through sales/marketing initiatives and a variety of techniques and approaches.

In addition, the incumbent will attend several trade shows in the US each year and get the cards of interested people – these trade shows are held in locations like Las Vegas, New Orleans, LA, and Orlando. Part of the role consists in following up with these leads to build business relationships.

This person will also need to successfully build brand awareness and connect with audiences through various social media campaigns and digital marketing initiatives. We are seeking someone who is organized and tenacious – Someone too aggressive at sales is not necessarily the profile. The person needs to have a soft approach with clients and give visual presentations to showcase what the company has to offer.

Key Requirements:

- At least 5 years of experience in a sales and marketing role within a similar industry
- A proven track record in increasing sales and brand awareness
- Contacts in US and Canada – a plus
- Demonstrated success in delivering results under tight timelines
- Relationship-building skills with strong personal initiative and good judgment
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, innovative and entrepreneurial environment – a must
- Impeccable oral and written English skills with the ability to deliver insightful recommendations in a persuasive and thoughtful manner
- Ability to travel 3 to 4 times per year
- Experience in the meetings or trade show industry – a definite asset
