Under the supervision of the Manager, Leadership Development the ideal candidate will develop and implement company wide solution linked to Leadership and programs and technical training solutions for the Corporate functions.

Salary : To be discussed


Advise functional managers on appropriate training and development solutions for business and operational needs;

Working with clients, identify and scope system-wide training development initiatives with alignment to business strategies, priorities and resource requirements (subject matter experts, instructors, outside developers, external experts) including budget;

Manage training development projects (from scoping and analysis to implementation) for training solutions including leader-led, web-based/webinars, job aids and blended learning; contracting with external suppliers, arranging for SME resources, tracking progress to plan, ensuring training product quality (accuracy, completeness, learning effectiveness), and tracking deliverables and expenses against contract;

Evaluate training solutions for effectiveness in the learning setting, transfer to job, and value;

Ensure that functions have a qualified and capable workforce to support the business goals;

Ensure that training is developed for required regulatory training.


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or other relevant field;

Graduate studies an asset (adult education, educational technology or other relevant field);

3 to 5 years of relevant experience;

Experience designing and developing training aligned to business needs;

Knowledge of instructional design;

Knowledge of training technologies and tools;

Systemic thinking / outside-in thinking when looking at a performance gap, appropriate; solutions and related implementation;

Experience in project management and ability to manage complex projects;

Consulting skills as partner and expert;

Relationship building skills;

Communication (verbal and written), listening, questioning and facilitation skills;

Demonstrated desire and ability to design, develop, implement and evaluate training and performance support interventions;

Demonstrated innovative and cost effective approach.


  • Essential - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Essential - Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology or relevant
  • Asset - Graduate studies an asset
