Under the supervision of the reception supervisor, the reception clerk performs tasks directly related to the client's stay, such as coordinating rooms, welcoming guests upon their arrival and during the stay, giving information about the establishment and its services, as well as camp instructions, sales of emergency products and coordination of the various services of the establishment.
• Greet customers on arrival, check booking data and offer additional services
• Assign rooms, hand in keys and provide the client with useful information about the property
• Respond to customer requests (wake-up calls, room change, etc.)
• Process and track customer comments and complaints
• Transmit to the various departments of the establishment the needs associated with reservations and customer requests
• Production of various documents
• Clerical tasks
• Coordinate with the various services (dining room, meeting rooms, room service, etc.)
• Receive and handle customer complaints
• Any other related tasks
• The work schedule will be 14 consecutive working days, followed by 14 days off.
• Professional studies diploma in catering or management (an asset)
• 6 months experience in administration / reception / customer service
• Customer contact experience
• Sales and customer service skills
• Very good knowledge of French and English both orally and in writing
• Ability to carry out monetary transactions
• Knowledge of hotel management software
• Easy to communicate with customers and colleagues
• Stress tolerance
