Gestion ADC is looking for candidates for current and / or future positions as Chef de Cuisine. Transportation is assumed by the employer from various home ports.

Summary:

Under the authority of the project manager, the chef helps with the preparation of meals, by participating in the proper functioning of the kitchens.

Responsibilities

The chef participates in the implementation of cafeteria concepts and operations;
The chef ensures compliance with established standards of food production and hygiene;
The chef may be required to replace on one or more contracts;
The chef collaborates with the other departments;
The chef manages the losses and waste;
The chef manages the work schedules;
The chef plans the distribution of work in the kitchen;
The chef works with various kitchen equipment;
The chef helps with order preparation under the supervision of the project manager;
The chef conducts inventory verification;
The chef helps planning the receipt of the goods;
The chef manages the kitchen staff;
The chef performs any other duties inherent and / or required by the Project Manager;

Requirements

Mandatory MAPAQ certificate, manager certification would be considered an asset;
A minimum of five years of experience;
Has a keen sense of organization;
Be familiar with Alto-Shaam electronic cooking instruments;
Ability to work under pressure;
Interviews with good working relations;
Work schedule over a period of 14 days of work followed by 14 days off;
