The Care Manager is the primary contact for patients within the virtual clinic providing exceptional client interaction. He or she is responsible for facilitating the patient experience through empathy, efficient data collection and data entry while expediting smooth and seamless transition of the patient to the health practitioner.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Follows established call centre guidelines and protocols.
• Monitors system for incoming requests and responds as per protocol.
• Welcomes patients and visitors through the secure video portal.
• Assists patient with IT troubleshooting as per protocol with respectful and patience.
• Performs complete, accurate, and timely data entry and documentation according to standards.
• Schedules appointments as per protocol.
• Filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintains patient profiles by obtaining, recording, and updating relevant, personal information, in the appropriate platforms (EMR, CRM, etc...)
• Manifests empathy in all dealings with patient (concerns, inquiries…)
• Protects patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Provides feedback, suggestions and participates in continuous process and client experience evolution.

Qualifications and skills

• Bilingual, spoken and written
• High comfort level with IT systems mandatory (iOS and Android mobile interfaces, as well Windows and Mac OS)
• Previous experience working with an Electronic Medical Record system or similar.
• Typing speed of 65+ wpm required.
• Previous MOA training or medical office work experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology considered an asset.
• Must be comfortable on camera as is required for video conferencing.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a polite and professional manner.
• Knowledge of the healthcare market and related solutions preferred.


• 2+ year experience in client relations
• Medical office assistant training or previous work experience in the healthcare field an asset

Schedule: Day and evening shifts available.

Benefits: Insurance plan for full-time staff

Location: Opportunity to work remotely following 3 months in office training. Remote work qualifies for home office tax deduction with Revenue Quebec.
