    DESCRIPTION


    Location: Brossard
    Province: Quebec (CA-QC)
    Assignment : Permanent

    Role
    The Technical Officer - Infrastructure and Inspection is responsible for assisting in the development of inspection and monitoring programs, performing inspections and providing technical expertise, guidance and support to team members in order to meet operating requirements and ensuring the reliability of the Seaway system.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of inspection and monitoring programs;
    • Perform inspections and assessments, technical analyses, and feasibility studies on both land and marine infrastructures;
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, contractors & consultants;
    • Create designs, specifications and drawings for structures and equipment;
    • Provide support to operational safety programs and initiatives a required.

    Experience and knowledge

    • Minimum of five (5) years of related progressive practical technical experience: inspection, maintenance, conception and installations.
    • Knowledge of inspection techniques.
    • Knowledge of applicable health and safety standards.




    Education
    • College Diploma en Civil Engineering Technology
    Certifications
    • Eligible for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) or l'Ordre des technologues professionnels du Québec.
    • Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record





    Projected start date: 11/02/2018

    Hours of work: 37.5 per week
