    Silicon Photonics Assembly Senior Process Engineer

    Working in the Photonic Components Assembly Processes group, in conjunction with the technical leader of the project, your role will be to support the micro-assembly processes development during all phases of the project development. Specifically, you will work on improvement and optimization of Silicon integrated photonic devices manufacturing processes.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Support and own the complete assembly process flow of the product:
    Passive optical and mechanical assembly sequences
    part placement, adhesive dispense, adhesives curing parameters, metrology
    Material and sub-components management (including supplier audit)
    Active optical alignment processes
    Develop, improve and optimize current processes (Clean room work required);
    Participate in selection, acceptance and commissioning process of future micro assembly machine to support product ramp up.
    Analyze, track and provide improvement ideas on assemblies coming from our Contract Manufacturing partner.
    Required Qualifications / Profile

    You obtained a bachelor degree in a relevant field: Electronics, Optics, Physics or equivalent studies;
    Experience in photonic components and/or micro-assembly;
    You have at least 5-10 years of experience in related work;
    excellent ability to solve technical, scientific and experimental problems;
    Excellent team work and communication skills;
    You must be fluent in English and French;
    You must be willing to travel internationally from time to time;.
