Description of the role:

The candidate is responsible for leading all application development activities. He/she is responsible for establishing management procedures in order to ensure continual service to clients. Through this role, he/she contributes to mission development strategies, which are to offer technological solutions and applications to an external clientele.


Reporting to the President, the candidate is responsible for managing the company’s services. He/she participates in the management committee and presents their recommendations, thhe manages the supplier relationship and ensure the collaboration of external resources. He/she manages all the activities related to the integration of solutions of different suppliers to the global solution of the company, which integrates about twenty technological applications in a uniform way. In addition to the internal team of IT personnel he/she ensures collaboration with suppliers, customers and their development team. The Director has the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's strategy at the service level
• Put in place PMO standards, processes and methods
• Manage development projects, staff, suppliers and partners
• Define an action plan according to the needs of internal services, users and corporate clients
• Prepare the operational budget and ensure its follow-up
• Manage the entire project portfolio (implementation, work plan, development of innovative solutions, resource planning, etc.)
• Ensure the evolution of the employees in the team and the development of their skills
• Support the achievement of strategic objectives and guide the development of technological solutions to optimize the quality of services and operations
• Manage the issues related to the operational capacity of the group (productivity, recruitment, need for training, employment relationship, etc.)
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers
• Develop management and performance reports (development cycle, operating budget, methodologies, processes, technologies, etc.)


• Bachelor's degree in Business Computing or a related field
• Five (5) years in project management, optimization and process review
• A minimum of four (4) years experience in managing an IT team
• Excellent priority management skills
• Excellent knowledge of office automation software
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent knowledge of management principles
• Knowledge of integration and deployment support technologies and systems
• Ease of understanding technology infrastructures and existing applications
• Ability to develop financial plans and cost estimates
• PMP certification
