Organization:
Located in Montreal, the Sainte-Justine University Hospital is the largest mother-child health centre in Canada and one of the four most important pediatric centres in North America. Gathering more than 200 research investigators recognized for their leadership towards the advancement of health.

Job Description:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be participating in the development of a large scale open source cloud platform in genomics and bioinformatics for Quebec patients. On the front-end, you will use top of the line frameworks like React.js to build responsive data portals and visualizations such as dcc.icgc.org and portal.gdc.cancer.gov. On the back-end, you will containerize and develop microservices that make up the foundational structure using technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, ElasticSearch and SQL and utilize languages such as Java 1.8, Scala and Python.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong understanding of technologies used in big data projects on cloud environments with strong analytical and bug hunting skills. Along with experience in distributed systems, we are looking for someone curious and eager to learn about a new business domain!

Qualifications:
