    Role Summary:

    Reporting to the Loyalty, CRM and Email Senior Manager, the Senior Email Marketing Specialist will manage the coordination, execution and optimization of our newsletters for the Dynamite and Garage brands while maximizing revenue opportunities and customer loyalty. The specialist will leverage our Salesforce email platform and data mining/visualization platforms for reporting, segmentation, A/B testing, data mining, executing campaigns and all required analysis. The candidate works closely with cross functional partners including Marketing, Acquisition, E-commerce and CRM.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Campaign planning

    Involved in the development, and accountable for the scheduling, delivery and analysis of email marketing & mobile push notifications channels (in collaboration with e-comm, marketing and CRM);
    Design strategies for automation focusing on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities;
    Collaborate with the senior lifecycle specialist to leverage customer insights and segments in order to test and automate more personalized and relevant content;
    Optimize existing processes as well as build and maintain documentation;
    Plan on best strategy to integrate A/B testing, segmentation and personalization into newsletter campaigns.

    Campaign execution & analysis

    Build email campaign journeys from start to finish, including mapping business rules into data logic, flow integration, QA and deployment in Exact Target;
    Manage the end-to-end deployment of campaigns including targeted and personalized promotional campaigns;
    Understand underlying data tables in order to execute campaigns accurately;
    Launch, maintain, test and iterate on single and automated email campaigns to newsletter & loyalty subscriber base;
    Build triggered and dynamic content using Salesforce Journey Builder;
    Collaborate with E-commerce to manage, execute and analyse A/B testing strategy;
    Manage e-mail and push notification campaigns while ensuring engagement as related to key communication objectives.

    Tracking and reporting

    Identify, build, QA and monitor static and dynamic subscriber list segments using Salesforce;
    Work with our digital team on any quality or system issues;
    Work to minimize the degradation of the list and shelter the unsubscribe rates;
    Manage weekly email health and revenue reporting. Continuously find ways to increase the effectiveness of e-mails performances (OR, CR, CTOR, Unsubs, deliverability, RPE...);
    Manage detailed on-going analysis of email campaigns to ensure targets are met. Produce and present post-campaign analysis demonstrating ROI and make recommendations for further improvement;
    Facilitate A/B and multi-variant tests across marketing channels to optimize dynamic content, subject lines, deployment times and promotional offers;
    Support channels in testing and implementing new test and automated email programs;
    Stays ahead of constant evolving trends in email marketing.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    University degree (or equivalent) required;
    3 to 5 years experience in e-mail marketing in a B2C environment;
    Experience using a major email marketing platform (preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to QA/deploy emails, manage email lists, and export data for reporting;
    Proficient in Google Analytics;
    SQL knowledge an asset;
    Experience with App push notifications an asset;
    Proficient in HTML and CSS specific to email a plus;
    High proficiency in MS Excel;
    Analytical, creative, and organized with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail;
    Can interpret and optimize the data and insights obtained from A/B tests within email campaigns;
    Must be able to work well within aggressive timelines, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
    Clear understanding of CASL requirements;
    Possess excellent written and oral communication skills;
    Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written);
    Fashion and retail experience a plus.
