    TransPerfect is looking for a Project Coordinator to fulfill a mandate (in Montreal) to service one of our dedicated clients. You will act as the liaison between this client and our Montreal production hub, supervising the execution of all their translation work and ensuring alignment with the Montreal operations. Working from our client’s office in downtown Montreal, you’ll be in direct contact with this end client but working under the guidance of your remote manager and in collaboration with onsite Translators and Reviewers. You will be responsible for explaining and discussing the production process and its requirements with the client; therefore, this position demands a solid knowledge of translation and localization, and the process involved in completing a linguistic project.


    - Manage day-to-day job placements, negotiate priorities with the client requestors and dedicated onsite Translators, ensure deadlines are met, and sign-off on the completed jobs.
    - Liaise with the various client requestors to meet expectations and ensure satisfaction by reviewing the job specifications and clarify each assignment’s needs and goals.
    - Prepare files for translation and establish a schedule of tasks, milestones and deadlines for each job.
    - Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    - Manage work volume by planning to keep work with onsite Translators or leverage TransPerfect Translators fro overflow.
    - Complete administrative tasks including approvals, schedules, status tracking, reporting, etc.
    - Maintain and use the client’s translation database.
    - Deliver relevant information in a timely manner to internal and external contacts; share feedback with the onsite Translators when required.
    - Participate in team meetings, as needed.
    - Perform quality checks at various stages of the process and as the final verification step prior to delivering back the completed work to the requestors to ensure quality and accuracy.
    - Make recommendations to your manager on ways to improve processes as part of TransPerfect’s commitment to continual improvement.

    Required Skills:

    - Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English and Canadian French.
    - Ability to support multiple projects by keeping accurate and up-to-date project specs.
    - Acute attention to scope and details (ex. spelling, grammar).
    - Ability to learn new skills quickly and being comfortable working with various technologies and interfaces.
    - Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills.
    - Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.
    - Positive attitude in the face of change, client-centered mind-set and pro-active approach to problem avoidance and resolution.

    Required Experience and Qualifications:

    - Must be available to start in October-November 2018 (exact date still TBD).
    - Located in Montreal and willing to work form the client’s premises.
    - Minimum Bachelor's degree.
    - Native fluency in Canadian French and near-native fluency in English.
    - 2-years of experience project management experience in the language industry or in a related industry.
    - Strong MS Office and Adobe software skills.
    - Experience with other document sharing platforms is considered an asset.
