    DESCRIPTION

    Under the supervision of the Director, Marketing, the incumbent will manage and coordinate digital marketing activities targeting the companies, students and national and international universities that Mitacs’s services are aimed at. This position is permanent and will be based in Montreal.

    Responsibilities include:
    - Introduce and implement digital strategies to increase traffic on the company websites and thereby generate more leads for the Business Development team.
    - Monitor performance indicators linked to digital marketing and produce performance reports using data from Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Insight, marketing automation tools, etc.
    - Manage digital marketing campaigns to maximize the reputation of Mitacs services, and generate viable leads using:
    - SEO
    - Database marketing
    - SEM
    - Publicity campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIn
    - Enhance web presence in terms of user-friendliness, design and content, in order to maximize traffic and conversion rates (e.g. A/B tests).
    - Stay up to date with the latest technological advances and propose new digital solutions that will allow Mitacs to reach its marketing objectives.

    Desired skills:
    - Arts/Sciences Degree, or equivalent practical experience
    - 5 years of experience in a digital marketing agency or a communications or marketing department
    - Excellent understanding of Google Analytics
    - Experience in SEO techniques
    - Experience managing digital campaigns, from media buying to conversion, particularly using Google, Facebook and LinkedIn
    - Analytical skills and ability to interpret data
    - Knowledge of the following platforms is an asset:
    - CRM – Microsoft Dynamics365
    - Automation platform – ClickDimensions
    - Hotjar
    - Hootsuite
    - Tableau
    - Drupal
    - Ability to work and collaborate with different teams (IT, Programs, Business Development, Communications)
    - Responsible and adaptable
    - Bilingual (English and French)
