Position: Operations Support Associate
Location: Montreal

Our client is searching for a very bright and seasoned Operations Support Professional for their Private Client Wealth Management team.

The salary is competitive and based on experience. The company also offers a bonus, great benefits, and a wonderful working environment.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide operational and client support in all matters relating to client account administration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Managing client files
- Updating client information in the database
- Preparing the necessary documents for new account openings and for existing account updates
- Managing outstanding documentation and ensuring timely follow-ups
- Generating monthly statements for mailing
- Assisting clients with online access
- Maintaining an up-to-date log of accounts and money transfers
- Processing cheque requests, fund transfers, and other cash operations
- Tracking and managing EFT and RRIF payments

What you need to succeed in this role:

- At least 5 years of experience in operations, working in a fast-paced corporate setting with very high-end clients (finance or insurance environment)
- Bilingualism, both written and spoken
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practice Handbook Course – a huge asset – **Note that you will need to get licensed once hired if not already
- DEC, AEC or DEP in administration or secretarial studies, or BAC in administration
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Team spirit and professionalism
- Ability to set priorities, to multitask, and to track activities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to enhance organizational effectiveness
