    We offer a comprehensive line of solutions, from software alone to full outsourcing of pension administration. Services are based on our ArielTM system, recognized as the leading pension administration software platform in the industry. We have unique expertise in handling complex pension plans, including those that have defined benefit (DB), defined contribution (DC), or hybrid components. This allows us to provide comprehensive, integrative solutions for clients who have these types of plans today or may be considering them for the future. As the Canadian leader in pension plan outsourcing, we offer our employees highly diversified job opportunities and careers.     • Function as a client manager;
    • Respond to the needs of clients;
    • Participate in the organization and annual planning of the work required for each client; manage tasks;
    • Communicate, specify and adhere to budgets and timelines;
    • Promptly identify any problems related to timelines so they can be addressed;
    • Recommend improvements for administrative procedures;
    • Train new staff assigned to the various projects;
    • Function as a resource person (leader) for standard administrative processes;
    • Participate in improvement projects for administrative processes with tools used by Morneau Shepell;
    • Analyze and summarize pension plans;
    • Prepare evaluations/estimates and timelines for the various tasks in a project, as required;
    • Set attainable and achievable objectives for production deadlines;
    • Exhibit good work habits including punctuality, openness and availability;
    • Take initiative to ensure that the required number of chargeable hours is respected;
    • Perform verifications.

    The successful candidate for the Associate Consultant position will have the following skills and qualifications:

    • University education in actuarial science, finance, mathematics or administration, or equivalent work experience;
    • At least 4 years of experience in pension plan administration;
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools;
    • Attention to detail, initiative, organization and professionalism;
    • Flexibility, availability and ability to effectively manage priorities;
    • Good learning skills and good professional judgment;
    • Good customer service skills and ability to explain things in non-technical language;
    • Good sense of initiative and excellent problem-solving skills;
    • Bilingualism and very good communication skills, both spoken and written;
    • SOA exam completion an asset.

    Job Grade: MS4
