    Description

    Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the tasks of the accounting technician will be:

    • Manage accounts payable: match invoices to purchase orders, prepare payments;
    • Invoicing and collection of accounts receivable;
    • Bank reconciliations;
    • Prepare government reporting and filing;
    • Journal entries;
    • Participate in month-end and year-end processes such as GL analysis and various account reconciliation;
    • Helps and supports the finance/administration/HR team;
    • Filing and clerical functions;
    • Upon request, take part in special projects and reporting as required.

    Requirements

    • Essential - College Diploma (DEC) or DEP in accounting
    • Essential - Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting
    • Asset - Experience in a non-profit organization
    • Essential - Bilingual (French/English) is a must
    • Important - Good knowledge of MS Office
