    Temporary position for twelve (12) months with possibility of extension.

    Your role:
    The Consolidation Accounting department is looking for an Accounting Officer. Your role will primarily involve analyzing and reconciling financial data (actual and budgeted) in order to assess the financial situation, as well as support decision making and budget planning.

    Your main responsibilities:
    More specifically, you will interpret financial management standards, policies and procedures in the light of past practices, and advise management in the various departments to overcome any issues encountered. You will also be responsible for periodically reconciling financial report data, identifying, assessing and commenting on discrepancies with a view to advising internal/external clients, as well as making required corrections or rectifying such situations by diverting funds.

    We are looking for a candidate with the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting / administration) or DEC in administration and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience analyzing and reconciling financial data.
    • Proficiency with the MS Office environment 2010 (Word, Excel and Access).
    • Good knowledge of SAP (an asset).
    • Able to advise managers in financial data processing.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities.
    • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Fluency in spoken and written French.
    • English is an asset.
