Job description

We are seeking to hire additional Guest Services Specialists for our team commencing in
October, so as to prepare for the upcoming peak season. If you know of any qualified people
whom might fit the role, we would ask that you kindly forward this document to them
accordingly.
The successful incumbents will work directly with our clientele, and will report to our Sales &
Service Manager. We are looking for motivated, customer service orientated individuals with the
capacity to actively recommend and sell services. The key responsibilities, qualifications and
attributes of the candidates we wish to attract are listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interfacing with Booked guests prior to their arrival with the objective of ensuring a
smooth arrival, answering all destination/villa related queries, making recommendations
for and setting up on-site services/activities
• Meet and/or exceed revenue ‘goals’ whilst maintaining an exceptionally high level of
customer service
• Develop strong rapports with clientele & Travel Partners
• Build good working relationships with Property Managers, Home Owners & Suppliers
• Develop sound knowledge of assigned destinations
• Deliver prompt, professional responses to guests’ e-mails and phone calls
• Researching for requested information and/or vendors of activities and services
Key Qualifications:
• Applicants will require 3 - 5 years of service and-or sales industry experience travel
industry specific experience considered a strong asset
• Passionate and well versed in travelling
• B to C (business to customer) phone sales and-or suggestive selling experience
considered an asset
• Proven organizational skills which are reflected in effective prioritizing, multitasking,
follow-up and ultimate delivery upon commitments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English French and especially Spanish
language skills considered a very strong asset
• Sound computer proficiency and strength with MS office tools required. Experience with
CRM is a distinct advantage
• Comfortable navigating through multiple computer programs simultaneously. Familiarity
with browsing the internet using tools such as Google (search engine) & Google Earth
considered an asset
• University degree in Business Administration or related field preferred Travel related
diploma considered an asset

• Experienced agents will bring substantial knowledge regarding particular destinations and
have travelled quite extensively
• Professional demeanor, maturity, and natural business acumen with exceptionally high
level of customer service
• Excellent consulting skills with a flair for developing effective relationships, persuading
others, and building trust
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills adept at asking questions and actively
listening
• Entrepreneurial results-oriented self-starter who adapts well to a changing environment
• Resourceful, disciplined, and independent character with strong initiative and excellent
problem-solving skills. Requires minimal supervision
