Collections Representative in Banking Industry (#2553)

Our east Ottawa client is currently seeking passionate Customer Support Advisors for their Collections department. If you have great customer service skills, strong listening skills and you enjoy a challenge, we would like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Outbound and inbound calling to customers who are overdue on credit card payments
Problem solving and conflict resolution
Assess individual needs of the customers to a positive outcome
Maintain good customer relations

- Bilingualism in French and English
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including 2 evenings per week and a Friday/Saturday rotation
- Previous collections, customer service, or call center experience preferred
- Demonstrated decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Being understanding, helpful, cooperative, and sensitive to needs and feelings of others; maintaining composure in difficult situations
- Strong listening skills with a demonstrated ability to probe for additional details, asking targeted questions to gather information
- Must be willing to work in an environment that requires heavy phone-based customer interaction
