Reporting to the Director, Finance & Control, the Plant Controller holds a crucial position in the control and monitoring of the plant operations. Working closely with the Plant Manager and Director of Operations, it is important that the new incumbent provide supports to the operations and works toward counselling managers in their decision-making specific to the assigned plants.
More specifically, we are seeking for an accounting professional with the following qualifications and attributes:
• Bilingual (French & English)
• Excellent skills in analyzing and interpreting operational and accounting data.
• Systems-oriented: has the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure that the required processes, statistics and dashboards are in place.
• Strong emphasis on Inventory Control and Costing.
• Strong sense of accountability for the integrity of all operational and accounting data. Participates actively in plant management reviews and provide reports to supervisors and other key members of the plant.
Management skills
• Acute sense of planning and organization,Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Operations-oriented rather than financing-oriented
• Ability to anticipate and define needs, improve processes and promote their use
• Autonomous, proactive and with great ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, Comfortable working in a shared service environment with little or no direct staff, and Flexibility as to the tasks and agenda
Expertise
• University training in accounting, finance or administration
• Member of one of the following accounting association CPA,CA, CMA, CGA
• More than 5 years in a manufacturing company

Sous la supervision du directeur, Finances, vous serez responsable de la comptabilité de gestion d'une opération manufacturièere majeurs et de ses divers aspects, notamment de la préparation et de l’interprétation des états financiers, du budget, des prévisions, de l’analyse des coûts et de l’élaboration des différents rapports de contrôle et de suivi.
Principales fonctions
• Préparer les états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels
• Coordonner la préparation des budgets et des projections financières
• Planifier, diriger et contrôler les opérations comptables
• Fournir l’information financière qui facilite la prise de décision des gestionnaires
• Assurer la mise en place, le maintien et l’amélioration continue des mécanismes financiers de contrôles internes et des processus administratifs
• Mesurer la performance des organisations et conseiller la direction sur les enjeux stratégiques et financiers
• Assurer le suivi des indicateurs de performance
• Intervenir dans toute autre demande relative à ses champs de responsabilité ou d'expertise.

Exigences
• Diplôme en comptabilité et idéalement un MBA
• Titre comptable reconnu CA CMA
• Un minimum de 5 années d’expérience (en entreprise manufacturière
• Maîtrise des états financiers dans un contexte manufacturier
• Aptitude dans l’utilisation des systèmes informatiques de suivi comptable et de projet
• Maîtrise des logiciels SAP et TM1, un atout
• Mobilité
• Bilinguisme.
