Blueslice est présentement à la recherche d’une personne versatile qui possède de l’expérience dans les systèmes de télécommunications afin de combler le poste de Concepteur de logiciel de base de données. Cette personne devra participer au développement et à l’évolution de notre « Subscriber Data Server » de type ‘carrier-grade’ sur une plateforme AdvancedTCA qui est utilisé comme plateforme pour nos produits HLR, HSS, SIP Registrar, et serveur AAA . Cet individu devra être habile dans le développement d’infrastructure à haute disponibilité, et être capable de travailler étroitement avec le système d’exploitation ainsi que le matériel dans un environnent stimulant.

Qualifications
Nécessités
• Baccalauréat, maîtrise ou Ph.D. en informatique, en génie informatique ou en génie logiciel
• Au moins 5 années d’expérience
• Qualifications prouvées dans le développement, l'intégration, l'optimisation et l'entretien des bases de données
• Système d'exploitation Linux, systèmes de type ‘carrier-grade’ et infrastructure à haute disponibilité
• Connaissance du langage C++, conception multitâches
• Connaissance de XML
• Analyse orientée objet et conception utilisant UML
• Expérience avec les systèmes redondants et distribués
• Capacités techniques et pratiques prouvées

Blueslice is currently looking for a versatile individual who is experienced with telecommunications systems to fill our opening for Database Software Developer. The person will participate in the development and the evolution of our carrier-grade, ATCA-based Subscriber Data Server which is used as the platform for our Home Location Register, Home Subscriber Server, SIP Registrar and AAA Server products. The individual must be skilled in the development of high-availability solutions and have the ability to work closely with the Operating System and the hardware in a challenging environment. Expertise with Software and Database modeling, Relational Database, C++, and Linux is also required.

Qualifications
Musts:
• Bachelor, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Sciences or Computer / Software Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven skills in the development, integration, optimization and maintenance of relational databases for imbedded systems
• Experience in development of carrier-grade and high-availability platforms
• C++, Linux, multi-threaded designs
• Knowledge of XML
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design using UML
• Experience with redundant and distributed systems
• Proven hands-on technical abilities
• Methodical, quality and customer oriented
• Personal drive and willingness to work hard in a team environment
• Fluent in English

Assets:
• Experience with technical leadership of a small team of software developers
• Fluent in French
