Key Account Manager/Channel Manager - Wal-Mart
Our client, a large distributor of brand name apparel products for Consumers is currently looking for a Key Account Manager to penetrate, grow and manage their Wal-Mart account. You will be responsible for the annual Sales program for all the sku's within this channel. Your goal is to grow sales through building strong relationships and executing a strong sales strategy and plan.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and building strong relationships with the client.
- Create a sales strategy and plan to manage and implement new product introduction.
- Monitor sales and effectiveness of new product launches and support activities
- Track, report, interpret on sales data and forecasting
- Responsible for full P&L for the account.
- Work with plan-o-grams to create stronger exposure and positioning within targeted channels.
- Put together promotions to increase sales.
- Communicate strongly with the field sales force with any new initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- 5-10 years experience related experience. Experience working with Wal-Mart a strong asset.
- Experience in channel marketing, key account management or account analysis an asset.
- Experience with preparing sales forecasts and customer account plans.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational and communication skills.
Other requirements:
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Strong leadership with the ability to build strategic plans
- Ability to initiate, develop and deliver plans and programs successfully
The offer:
- Base Salary of $80,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus based on performance
