Sr QA Analyst (Bilingual English/French)

The QA & Data management department is an integral part of Rogers ITS . Our department is responsible for performing verification and validation of various applications in use across the Wireless and Cable lines of business using various technologies and platforms. This group within the QA & Data management department is responsible for testing production tickets and maintenance releases supporting Cable/RHP line of business.

This group is looking to hire a Sr QA Analyst. The responsibility of this position is to define, develop and execute detailed test deliverables to ensure that system enhancements meet the business requirements and functional design specifications.

Responsibilities:
* System Functional Testing within Wireless systems portfolio with emphasis on IVR touchtone application.
* Review functional design specifications and provide feedback during the planning stages.
* Design and develop test cases based upon design specifications.
* Create test plans and test execution schedule.
* Develop and/or extract detailed test data required for the execution of test cases.
* Perform test execution for both functional and regression test phases.
* Validate test results and verify all enhancements, programs and/or system(s) meet the expected results.
* Report and track system defects where output and/or behaviour do not meet expected results. Perform re-test upon delivery of fix.
* Maintain regression test beds as required based on new functionality.
* Document test results for project team sign off
* Provide Manager and/or Team Lead with status reports on all testing issues related to the project under test.
* Assist Project Leader in reviewing development deliverables and participating in development hand-off meetings.
* Supervise and assist temporary staff and business users when required.
* Create test scripts utilizing automated test tools

* Bilingual in English and French. Fluent in both languages
* Computer Science Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience.
* At least 3 years experience working within QA and Testing.
* Previous experience testing applications in a telecom environment is an asset
* Familiarity with testing methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
* Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong Analytical skills required
