Job description

Start date: ASAP

Located in Montreal, this position requires an in-depth understanding of retail loss prevention, profit and loss analysis, and exceptional computer skills. Responsibilities include protecting the assets of the company by assisting in the education and training in the prevention of loss investigating all apparent instances of internal theft/fraud and assisting in recovering the worth of lost assets.

The successful incumbent must possess a post secondary education with 3 to 5 years of previous experience in loss prevention (preferably in retail). Must possess proven analytical and problem solving skills high energy a high degree of business acumen be detail oriented demonstrate exceptional interviewing, organizational and time management skills effective customer service and communication skills, oral and written in both official languages. The ability to work in a deadline driven environment is crucial. Accounting/Auditing or Police experience are considered an asset. Overnight travel within the region will be required.

Situé à Montréal, ce poste requiert une compréhension approfondie de la prévention des pertes en commerce de détail, d’analyse des profits et des pertes ainsi que d’excellentes compétences informatique. Les responsabilités incluent protéger les actifs de la compagnie en procurant de l’assistance en éducation et en formation de la prévention des pertes enquêter tous les cas apparents de fraudes/vols internes assister à la récupération des valeurs perdues.

Le candidat idéal doit posséder un diplôme d’études secondaires ainsi que 3 à 5 années d’expérience en prévention des pertes (préférablement dans le commerce de détail). Il doit posséder des compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes être énergétique posséder un sens aigu des affaires être minutieux et attentif aux détails démontrer des compétences exceptionnelles d’organisation, d’entrevue et de gestion ainsi que des compétences orales et écrites en communication et en service à la clientèle dans les deux langues officielles. La capacité à travailler dans un environnement à échéanciers est fondamentale. L’expérience policière est considérée comme un atout. Des déplacements régionaux nocturnes seront requis.
