OEL Overseas Express Logistics Inc. is a leading Sufferance warehouse and 3PL operations service provider located in St-Laurent, QC. We are presently looking to fill the position of:

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Responsible for the supervision, control, planning and development of the warehouse/3PL operations of the company in both
the sufferance de-stuffing operations and 3PL/distribution.

-Responsible for the control and supervision of the warehouse staff
and all Human Resource related aspects of personnel management.

-Responsible of safety regulations enforcement (workmen compensation-CCSST.)

-Responsible to enforce and maintain proper security measures and
procedures to protect clients' and company's assets.

-Maintain high productivity performance with permanent and temporary
(agency) staff.

-Maintain warehouse premises and equipment in good standing conditions (cleaning, maintenance and repairs).

-Assist management in pricing, quoting, sale presentation and promotion of the warehousing/3PL services and development of
the business.

-Responsible to address and resolve in a timely and business efficient manner, clients' complaints and billing disputes.

-Continuously invest efforts in improving internal processes aiming at increasing internal efficiency and customer service.

-Able to efficiently organize shelving locations structure to maximize space utilization and favor internal efficiency
(picking, storing, cycle counts.)

-Responsible to develop, document, maintain and enforce proper standard operating procedures aimed at meeting clients'
requirements and maintaining internal efficiency.

-Responsible for costs control in line with assigned budget.

-Visit or contact on a regular basis the clients of the
warehouse to maintain close and harmonious relationships.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

-Bilingual (English and French).

-Minimum 15 years experience in warehousing and 3PL operations in various functions, including managerial/supervision position.

-Knowledge of Canada Customs regulations, Bond,PARS, A8A,
Customs Clearance Notification.

-Knowledge of import and export procedures pertaining to ocean freight.

-Pharmaceutical and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience
as asset.

-Strong organizational and planning skills.

-Strong supervision and coaching skills.

-Strong people skills.

-Strong communication skills with employees, clients, vendors and management.

-Experience in developing and documenting structured and efficient
standard operating (SOP) adapted to meet client's requirements
and favoring internal efficiency.

-Ability to meet clients' requirements under a profitable environment in compliance with company's benchmarks.
