Scope:
If you are an experienced, dynamic and creative salesperson with an excellent track record for delivering solid results while enjoying the ever changing, fast paced innovative environment then Yellow Pages is the place for you!
You will be primarily responsible for acquiring and developing new customers through effective prospecting and sales techniques. In addition, the successful candidate will persevere to ensure that our customers' needs are exceeded in terms of customer satisfaction and ensuring advertising program is accurate and complete.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify and discuss advertising needs with prospective customers
* Understand and promote YELLOW PAGES GROUP products and services relevant to each new potential acquisition
* Design and present proposals for customers based on needs assessment
* Ensure effective canvass control of accounts per period and throughout the canvass
* Ensure effective acquisition of new accounts and revenue per month at the corporate revenue and conversion targets
* Ensure all documentation & reports are complete and accurate
* Ensure all canvass deadlines are met and books are closed on schedule
* Maintain positive and effective customer relationships
* Represent YELLOW PAGES GROUP professionally and enthusiastically both to internal and external customers
* A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience
* Self Starter
* Strong knowledge of Internet advertising an asset
* Ability to build rapport with new customers
* Motivated by results to achieve company set targets
* Strong consultation and closure skills
* Proficient with MS Office computer skills
* Effective time management and organization skills
* Valid Driver's License & access to your own car
* Motivated to achieve superior sales results for superior reward and recognition
