MAYA Heat Transfer Technologies, a leading developer of software applications for mechanical engineering, is expanding, and is taking important strategic steps to enhance its continued growth. Working in close partnership with Siemens PLM Software, MAYA develops and markets a variety of software products for heat transfer and fluid flow simulation, laminate composites simulation, finite element model correlation and durability analysis. To support our strategy for continued growth, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Sales Improvement Manager to join our team in Montreal, Canada.
SALES IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
MAYA requires an entrepreneurial, hands-on Sales Improvement Manager, reporting to the President.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Improvement Manager will be responsible and accountable for a wide range of activities, including:
• Sales & Marketing:
o Introduce improved sales and marketing processes to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency
o Collaborate with the MAYA team to identify, develop and maintain an engaging and unified set of sales and marketing materials
o Proactively investigate and respond to market changes
o Execute all sales and marketing activities in alignment with the overall strategy of MAYA
• Sales Support:
o Proactively manage the coordination of sales activities and sales resources
o Cooperate daily with product managers and application engineers
o Support the preparation of documents, such as proposals and presentations, as required
o Prepare sales plans, forecasts, budgets and sales reports, conduct analysis and evaluate sales performance
• Business Development & Lead Generation:
o Nurture MAYA’s network and conduct prospecting for new customers and sales opportunities
o Support the sales team as required to increase leads and sales
• Relationship Management:
o Manage the coordination of sales and marketing activities between MAYA and Siemens PLM
o Drive effective communication channels between the sales team and MAYA
Key Qualifications
• University degree (Mechanical Engineering or related field an asset)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and marketing
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels
• Self-starter demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness and integrity
• Ability to organize, prioritize and successfully multi-task
• Strong administrative skills and willingness to do so
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly understand a client’s business problems and create solutions
• Advanced understanding of customer and market dynamics
• Excellent relationship management
