L’équipe Services Réseau Global d’Ubisoft recherche des PASSIONNÉS !
Actuellement composée de plus de 55 personnes talentueuses, l’équipe de Services Réseau Global désire accroître ses effectifs à 65 personnes pour maintenir et optimiser l’infrastructure mondiale du réseau informatique du groupe UBISOFT. Nous aimerions vous connaître !

Un poste de spécialiste en solutions d’infrastructure (architecte de solutions) est actuellement disponible au sein du département. Ce poste vise particulièrement les personnes ayant acquis une bonne expertise technique dans plusieurs sphères technologiques et qui ont envie de relever des nouveaux défis en appliquant leur créativité et leur savoir-faire à la réussite de projets multidisciplinaires au sein du groupe Ubisoft. Cette personne aura comme mandat de livrer l’architecture complète d’un projet en collaboration avec les spécialistes infrastructures (architectes technologiques). Elle pourrait tout aussi bien être appelée à travailler sur un projet d’ouverture d’une filiale que sur l’élaboration de l’infrastructure d’un jeu MMO.

Que ce soit par la mise en place d’un système de rendu haute performance pour le studio de création numérique, par l’implantation de nouveaux studios en Asie ou ailleurs dans le monde ou par la migration mondiale à Office 2007 et Exchange 2007, l’équipe Services Réseau Global (Global Network Services – GNS) est responsable d’instaurer et de maintenir l’infrastructure nécessaire à l’ensemble des services d’UBISOFT.

Basé à Montréal dans l’un des secteurs les plus dynamiques et motivant, l’environnement de travail développé par GNS permet à chacun d’évoluer rapidement sur le domaine technique et ce, dans un pôle d’expertise mondial.

Le Services Réseau Global intervient sur l’ensemble des projets d’Ubisoft :
• Tous les projets en ligne avec les sites de jeux, Match Making, Xbox Live, MMO
• La connectivité mondiale (VPN, FW, Connexion Internet, Boucle locale, fibre noire, 10 GB)
• Stockage et sauvegarde, reporting, outils de gestion
• Les environnements EDI, DW, BI, ERP
• Fermes de rendu, outils de gestion et de monitoring.
Principales responsabilités
• Rechercher les meilleures solutions répondant aux besoins d’affaires
• Élaborer le design et la documentation de l’infrastructure des différents systèmes et environnements en collaboration avec les architectes technologiques
• Assurer que l’implantation de la solution se fait en respect avec l’architecture définie
• Comprendre le fonctionnement des équipes opérationnelles liées aux projets
• Élaborer les standards d’entreprise
• Assurer la vision long terme des solutions et des environnements
• Sélectionner les fournisseurs et rédiger les plans d’achats des solutions retenues
• Faire un suivi périodique sur l’avancement des projets.


Profil recherché :

Le candidat idéal possède un minimum de 10 années d’expérience pertinente dans le domaine des TI dont un minimum de 4 ans dans un poste similaire. Nous recherchons une personne autonome, structurée, responsable et dynamique désirant s’intégrer à une équipe expérimentée, ambitieuse et passionnée des technologies. Les défis qui vous attendent sont de taille et nombreux. Tout en centralisant la gestion de l’administration du réseau mondial de l’entreprise, GNS doit supporter la forte croissance d’Ubisoft. Vous aurez donc à travailler sur de nombreux projets supportés par la technologie la plus récente.
Qualifications et compétences techniques
•Expert dans au moins une des disciplines suivantes :
o Microsoft
o Linux/Unix
o Environnement web d’envergure
• Excellentes connaissances de l’architecture client serveur, trois tiers et multi tiers
• Bonnes connaissances d’APACHE et IIS
• Bonnes connaissances des technologies serveurs sous Windows et Linux
• Bonnes connaissances des langages de programmation telles que PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Java
• Bonnes connaissances de MySQL et MSSQL
• Bonnes connaissances des technologies de réseaux telles que DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP, TCP/IP, « routing », « switching » et autres protocoles de réseaux.

Critères généraux :
• Titulaire d’un baccalauréat en informatique ou un certificat avec expérience équivalente
• Bilinguisme (oral et écrit)
• Sens du service client
• Habileté à travailler sous pression et à résoudre des problèmes complexes
• Posséder des concepts de gestion de projets.


The Global Network Services team of Ubisoft is looking for ENTHUSIASTES!
Currently composed of 55 talented members, the team of the Global Network Services would like to increase its work force to 65 individuals to maintain and optimize the worldwide infrastructure of the IT network of Ubisoft’s group. We would like to know you!
A position of Infrastructure Solutions Specialist (Solution Architect) is currently opened within the department. This position mostly calls for people with a good technical expertise that would like to accept new challenges by applying their creativity and their knowledge to the management of the Microsoft and Network systems of the company. This person will have as a mandate to deliver a complete solution for the infrastructure of a project in collaboration with the Infrastructure Specialists (Technical Architects). This person could be called to work on a subsidiary opening or even on the infrastructure of a MMO game.

Either by the installation of a high performance rendering system for the Digital Arts studio, by implementing new studios in Asia or elsewhere in the world or by the world migration to Office 2007 and Exchange 2007, the GNS team is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the network infrastructure in all sectors of Ubisoft.

• To elaborate the design and documentation of the infrastructure of different systems and environments in collaboration with the Infrastructure Specialists
• To ensure that the solution implementation respects the defined architecture
• To understand how the operational teams relate to the projects
• To establish business standards
• To ensure a long term vision of solutions and environment
• To select vendors and write purchase plans of kept solutions
• To make periodically follow-up on the progress of projects.
Required profile

The ideal candidate has a 10 years minimum of relevant experience in IT as well as a minimum of 4 years in a similar position. We are looking for an autonomous, structured, responsible, motivated and dynamic person who wishes to join an experienced and ambitious team that is passionate of technologies. The challenges that await you are of size and they are many. While centralizing the management of the administration of the world network of the company, GNS must support the strong growth of Ubisoft. You will have to work on many projects supported by the most recent technology.

Qualifications and technical skills :
• Expert in at least one of the following:
o Microsoft
o Linux/Unix
o Wide Web Environment
• Excellent knowledge of client server, three tier and multi-tier architectures
• Good knowledge of APACHE and IIS
• Good knowledge on server technologies under Windows and Linux
• Good knowledge on programming lexicon like PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Java
• Good knowledge on MySQL and MSSQL
• Good knowledge on network technologies such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP, TCP/IP, routing, switching and other network protocols.

General criteria :
• Degree in computer sciences or certificate plus equivalent experience
