UpClick is looking to hire an Accountant who is highly motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively. Our accountant will report directly to the VP Finance, and will work with our accounting team to manage our day to day finances.

Responsibilities:
• Take charge of the preparation process of financial statements as well as prepare monthly reports and analysis when needed
• Responsible for recording daily business transactions, following up on account and cash discrepancies as well as maintaining appropriate records
• Be involved in the preparation of budget and yearly forecasts
• Coordinate month end and quarter end closing efforts with other divisions
• Primary audit contact (Financial & Internal) primary income tax contact
• Take part in the compilation of financial numbers and in turn analyze
• Take part in projects aiming towards the improvement of internal controls and financial management
• Coordinate and manage multiple processor accounts
• Assist in the planning of yearly verifications
• Act as the go-to-person for management questions related to budgeting and treasury.

Qualifications:
• CGA /CA designation is required.
• Minimum of 4 years accounting experience required
• Minimum 2-3 years of auditing experience required
• Excellent time management and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
• Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Applications, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken as well as good communication skills in French is essential (Intermediate)
• Knowledge of ACCPAC an asset

Upclick est à la recherche d’un(e) comptable qui es très motivée, dotée de solides aptitudes pour l’organisation et capable de travailler efficacement aussi bien seule qu’au sein d’une équipe. Notre comptable rapports à le VP Finances et qui travaille avec l’equipe finance pour maintenez les finances quotidiennes.

Responsabilités:
• Prendre charge du processus de préparation des états financiers ainsi que des rapports mensuels et analyses s’y rapportant
• S’impliquer dans le processus de préparation des budgets et des prévisions annuelles
• Effectuer la compilation des données financières et en faire l’analyse
• S’impliquer dans des projets ponctuels visant l’amélioration continue des contrôles internes et de la gestion financière
• Agir comme chef des services de la comptabilité et comparer la performance financière de la compagnie avec les budgets et interpréter les résultats
• Connaître les besoins financiers de l’entreprise
• Assister et planifier la vérification annuelle
• Agir à titre de personne ressources auprès des gestionnaires pour leur suivi budgétaire et la gestion de la trésorerie.

Qualifications

• Un titre comptable reconnu serait un atout
• Minimum de 4 années d’expérience pertinente
• Une connaissance des applications Microsoft et particulièrement Excel
• Une bonne connaissance du système comptable ACCPAC serait un atout
• Capacité de communiquer efficacement à l’oral et à l’écrit.
