AXE Canada’s Ridiculously, Ridiculously Good Summer Gig

The AXE Canada Consumer Consultant

What do 60 days look like when you’re young and single?
If we choose you – they look ridiculously, ridiculously good.
AXE Canada is looking for one guy and one girl to be AXE Canada’s Consumer Consultants, a summer job that will give a whole new meaning to “positive work experience”.

The position combines real-world business and marketing experience with a summer of living it up AXE-style (popped collars and hot pants need not apply). The successful applicants will be expected to chronicle their experiences (and exploits) on a personal blog, which will provide others with a glimpse into the life of young, single guys and girls everywhere.

The ideal AXE Canada Consumer Consultants are outgoing, confident, social and over 19 years of age. Basically, you’re awesome, but you would never say so.
Between June 1 and July 31, 2010, you will:

• Work both individually and as a team to conduct in-depth field research on the Canadian dating landscape. In other words, date and tell.
• Scoop thoughts and opinions from like-minded Canadian guys and girls by supporting the management and day-to-day operations of AXE Canada’s consumer insight group.
• Organize and execute consumer insight events, working with the AXE Canada team… think ‘man den’ and ‘girls night in’ on bigger budgets.
• Represent your peers by providing ongoing insight and information to the AXE brand team and its agency partners.
• Add your personal touch, roll with the punches and rise to the occasion.

Compensation
Each AXE Consumer Consultant will receive a $10,000 salary for the two-month job, and will live in a sweet pad in downtown Toronto from June 1 to July 31, 2010. Each Consumer Consultant will live in his/her own apartment.

To truly live the AXE brand both AXE Consumer Consultants will receive a variety of additional perks that will ensure 2010 is a summer they’ll never forget.
