The People Bank Halifax Office is currently recruiting for our client in Summerside, PEI who is seeking Call Centre Customer Service Representatives. This is an upcoming temporary opportunity.

Job Description:

Receives and provides superior service to inbound customers and may make outbound contacts with external customers on behalf of the client. Provides product and service information, takes orders and facilitates general inquiries and complaints. May be required to cross sell or up sell.

Qualifications:
- Communication skills: oral and written, call control and problem solving; contacting customers through e-mail, Internet, Web-chat, phone and/or fax.
- Business knowledge and knowledge of customer service: ability to find information required to serve the customer, ability to listen and exchange information over the phone; ability to deal with emotional customers.
- May respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources or more senior staff.
- Identifies opportunities to build and enhance customer relationships.
- Sales skills to cross-sell, up-sell and market contact centre?s products and services.
- Follows established standards for service quality.
- Multi-task (i.e. speaking, typing and browsing for information at the same time).
- Technological skills to manipulate a variety of applications, databases and the Internet.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Performs other duties as required.

This role also requires the flexibility to work various shifts. Candidates must be willing to undergo a credit and criminal background check.

Salary:
$9.50/hour
