A major Montreal-based private company is currently seeking a Chief accountant to join its team.

Active in Canada and the United States, the company boasts sales of more than $100 million, 700 employees, and continued organic growth.



Under the supervision of the Accounting Director, you will have the following responsibilities:

*Preparation and analysis of the monthly and annual consolidated financial statements
*Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of tools needed for accounting and financial control procedures and systems
*Supervise and participate in the preparation of budgets
*Preparation of the annual audit file
*Analyze variants and costs
*Monitor performance indicators

REQUIREMENTS

*Bachelor’s degree in accounting
*Accounting title (CGA, CA)
*10 years of relevant experience
*Spoken and written fluency in French and English essential
*Thorough knowledge of software MS Excel

EXIGENCES

*Baccalauréat en comptabilité
*Titre comptable (CGA, CA)
*10 années d’expérience pertinente
*Bilinguisme français et anglais, parlé et écrit, essentiel
*Très bonne connaissance du logiciel Excel
