We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong background in public practice tax, Caseware/tax prep software proficiency, and experience in handling various tax forms including T1, T2, and T3. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the team, contributing to the success of the clients and the growth of the firm.




As the Senior Accountant your day to day responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to:



- Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns (T1, T2, T3) with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax legislation
- Assist in managing client relationships and resolving tax-related inquiries
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning




The successful Senior Accountant will possess the following:



- 3+ years of experience in public practice tax
- Proficiency in Caseware or similar tax preparation software
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
