    Summary of role
    Under general direction, the candidate will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing information to support projects involving the use of SharePoint as a collaboration technology platform. Develops and documents business requirements and/or solutions and leads efforts to solve problems and issues related to business operations by effectively utilizing SharePoint technologies.

    Specific role requirements
    • Interact with end users and understand business process
    • Examine existing processes and analyze where improvements can be made
    • Identify gaps in existing processes, opportunities for improvement and automation
    • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile differences
    • Develop solutions relying on natively available SharePoint capabilities
    • Capture requirements and build proof of concept prototype solutions
    • Develop wireframes, mock-ups, process flows to display the visualization of front-end user designs and business processes
    • Help implement new processes and tools by educating end users
    • Document the process, provide support and share knowledge with others

    Required skills / experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
    • Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
    • 3 to 5 years, or more, experience with SharePoint 2010 or higher
    • Advanced understanding of SharePoint end-user capabilities
    • Experience using SharePoint as a collaboration technology platform

    Additional skills / experience (plus, but not required)
    • 1 to 3 years, or more, experience with SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Online
    • Experience in banking or financial services industry
    • Understanding of project management méthodologies
