The Project Manager is responsible for the simultaneous delivery of multiple projects from initiation through to delivery and project closure. The Project Manager will work closely with technical and business functional areas and external business customers to develop project plans and execution. The Project Manager will facilitate the requirements and analysis phase of assigned projects. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of the projects using planning, monitoring and controlling processes and is responsible for coordination and completion of the projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:



-Manage multiple concurrent cross functional (Process/System Change Initiative) projects;
-Manage external Customer service implementation and/or deployment projects;
-Develop project charters, project plans, costs estimates and resource requirements;
-Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities;
-Identify project dependencies and risks and ensure that they are effectively managed;
-Ensure that the project plan maintains tasks, schedules, estimates, and status, and disseminate information to team members and customers;
-Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;
-Obtain approval from the Steering Committee and the customer for each phase (gate) of the project before proceeding with the next project phase;
-Communicate project milestones, status reporting, issues, scope management and resource management throughout the project life cycle;
-Escalate unresolved issues to the Steering Committee where appropriate to secure their timely decisions/support;
- Ensure contractual obligations with the client are carried out in accordance with the terms of the contract; managing client expectations and negotiating toward successful outcomes;
-Manage scope changes effectively and quickly;
-Monitor project milestones and re-asses project priorities, as needed to ensure that the project is completed successfully, on time, within budget and with quality;
-Coordinate all meeting and interface with business units, staff, customer and service provider;
-Facilitate ongoing communication with the client and ensure responsiveness to issues/requests;
-Maintain good working relationships with internal groups that support projects.

Requirements:

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management and/or change management;
-Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset;
-Excellent communication skills (written and spoken);
-Bilingualism (English and French);
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio and Word);
-Autonomous, leadership qualities, and team spirit;
-Detail oriented and able to multitask.
