Our fast paced and fast growing CNC machine shop in Western Canada is creating a Drummondville (Québec) based operation. We are the largest 5 axis machine shop in Western Canada, and we are now looking for two CNC machining center programmers to join our team.
CNC Programmer
Description:
The candidate will be programming CNC machining centers, from 3 to 5 axes. Depending on experience, the programmer will become involved in the early stage of process planning, fixture design, tooling requirements, and all aspects related to the manufacturing of a given project.
Requirements:
CNC machining center setup experience (4-5 axis is an asset)
Extensive understanding of g-codes
Some CAD/CAM experience required
Siemens NX (former UGS NX) knowledge would be an asset
Must work well in a team, but also be very autonomous
Position may require occasional business trips to Vancouver
