JOB PURPOSE
The successful candidate will be responsible for the validation, integration and testing of information and control systems used on mining equipments such as drills, draglines, shovels, and haul trucks. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual who will play a key role within the system integration and test group to ensure products meet customer expectations and are delivered with the highest quality.

JOB DUTIES
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand product requirements and ensure thorough testing from a business perspective;
- Define and develop test plans and document functional and integration test cases to validate software/system requirements;
- Execute test cases on software releases during product development;
- Identify, characterize and document product issues or product improvement. Make recommendations for potential solutions;
- Document test results and submit problems/issues into the defect database. Monitor and update defect database as needed including bug report closure;
- Setup, configure and troubleshoot test environment (hardware and software) as needed to complete assigned testing;
- Validate product user's manuals and installation manuals created by the documentation group;
- Contribute to product improvement and process improvement during test execution.
Requirements
- Essential - Bachelors Degree in engineering or equivalent
- Important - 2 years exp. software testing methodologies
- Important - Testing integrated/embedded syst. TCP/IP networks
- Important - Software prog. C/C++ or script lang. (Python/Perl)
Knowledge and abilities
- Important - Bilingual
- Asset - Hands-on exp. CAN, RS232, Wi-Fi & GPS tech.
- Asset - Knowledge or previous exp. mining oper.
