  • Manulift seek to become the reference in telehandler in the GTA an also in Calgary.

    For this purpose, we are now looking for a highly motivated, experienced and talented regional operations manager who will be committed to grow and optimize our branches. The operations manager will spend 75 % of his time in the GTA.

    In collaboration with our National Directors of part, service and rental; with hands on approach, he will plan, lead and train the branches staff (15). The candidate shall increase productivity and profitability. For Toronto he will also support the sales force.



    Responsibilities

    •Identify priorities for the mechanics technicians, road and shop, in collaboration with the foreman

    •Insure that labor time and quality are respected

    •Coordinates departure and arrival of rented units

    •Plan inventory and ensure warehouse efficiency and purchases

    •Insure parts, service invoicing is accurate

    •Machines and attachments inventory (weekly), garage and trucks parts

    •Implement and assure respect of Manulift ERP

    •Meet top drop accounts for after sales to assure satisfaction

    •Meet potential customers with salesman when required

    •Propose corrective actions and share knowledge with other branches, share business opportunities and competitive intelligence

    •Examine financial data /statements and kpi to improve profitability

    •Talent recruitment



    Requirements and qualifications

    •Proven branch management experience

    •Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices

    •Leadership and human resources management skills

    •Familiarity with industry

    •Minimum 8 years or proven track record with strong background in mechanic, parts and sales.

    •Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word a must)
