Our client is looking for a Technical and Sales Representative to join their team.
The company has currently no office in Quebec and needs someone to be the pioneer in this province.
In this role reporting to the Director of Marketing/Business Development Manager in Mississauga, you will work from a home office and also be on the road supporting existing clients with technical issues, answering pre and post-sales questions and ensuring business mushrooming and development for this area. The territory will cover all of Quebec – all clients are businesses (B2B environment).

Please note that this will start as a dual role (about 50% sales and 50% technical support) in order for you to get the best training for the first 1 – 2 years.
We need a professional with a background that is more technical (Engineering or IT) and who has the charisma and skills that are mandatory in this client-facing role. The product can be quite technical in nature, so someone who can understand how to troubleshoot it would be at ease to sell it (training on the product will be provided).
Your Responsibilities in this Role:
- Providing customer service and technical support to Quebec customers
- Growing sales in a B2B environment
- Tracking and reporting key sales measurements for continuous improvement
What you need to apply to this role:
- A degree in a technical field (Engineering or IT)
- Perfect bilingualism to support Quebec market (Montréal and surroundings) – a must
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a client-facing environment
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Strong business acumen and autonomy
Compensation: base salary + uncapped commissions (can be generous!)

Note that during the first 6 – 12 months there will be extra travel for training, both in Mississauga for multiple weeks and elsewhere in Canada for more technical, hands-on training.
