Responsible to the Regional LBM Coordinator for providing administrative and technical support to the programs and processes designed to support the Dealers.
Assisting the Coordinator and Dealers in the sourcing of Building Material products.
Timely/accurate system maintenance for vendor and product information.
Timely/accurate system maintenance for cost and retail pricing.
Conduct and analyze competitive shops.
Establish regular retail pricing following established guidelines.
Collection and preparation of flyer pricing information.
Promotional pricing analysis and reporting.
Communicate promotional information to the Dealers to support the flyer program.
Flyer content administration – item selection and assist with proofing all flyers.
Assisting with semi-annual markets and Dealer meeting preparation.
Placing and receiving telephone calls/emails, to and from suppliers and Dealers.
General clerical duties as required for the smooth operation of the department.
Other duties assigned by the Regional Coordinator.
Fluently bilingual in French and English (Written and Oral).
Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years of retail and/or distribution experience in the building supply industry.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a group.
Ability to prioritize and react to changing situations.
