We are manufacturing company located in Lachine, Quebec who specializes in the manufacture of top quality footwear, ranking it among the most successful companies in its field. We are looking for a customer relations/order desk associate with strong collaborative skills to join our fast-paced customer service team.
Under the supervision of the customer service supervisor, the customer relations/order desk associate will provides customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Co-ordinates the handling of difficult and/or unusual situations.
•Receives, processes and verifies the accuracy of orders from customers and sales reps utilizing the organization’s internal systems.
•Initiates required action for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate personnel/departments.
•Ensures and provides quality service to both internal and external customers.
•Receives inquiries from customers and sales reps and resolves a variety of order related issues.
•Participates and provides expertise as a member of the customer service’s departmental team. Recommend changes to existing methods and systems to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the customer service department as a whole.
•Prepares, generates and distributes daily reports and order acknowledgements to appropriate personnel.
•Responsible for any required updates of customer records on the organization’s system.
•Provides back-up support to other group members in the performance of job duties as required.
•Answers customer inquiries/communications as required.
•Attends regular customer service departmental meetings.
•Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong owner attitude of what they are accountable for.
• Comfortable at multi-tasking and problem solving .
• 3-4 years of bilingual customer relations experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of AS400 an asset.
• Must be fully bilingual
• spoken languages: French and English; written languages: French and English
Number of hours per week: 40
Work hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
Employment status: Permanent, full-time , day
