The Challenge: Billing and Customer Service Technician
Reporting to the Director of Finance, your main tasks will involve carrying out billing operations and responding to customers’ questions about their invoices. You could also be called upon to collaborate on various administrative tasks to meet the department’s needs.
•Be the first contact for clients who call SherWeb with billing questions and ensure they are provided with good customer service.
•Carry out billing operations using our internal computerized system. These operations include: Create a ticket that corresponds to the client’s need and proceed with the standard operations (update client information, generate a copy of the invoice, make a payment, terminate the process, etc.) ; Enter the clients’ purchase orders and prepare the invoices accordingly ; Prepare credit notes and have them authorized ; Apply refunds to the clients’ credit cards through the appropriate credit card company ; Make adjustments to client accounts, their invoices or their contracts ; Carry out technical operations, even to our computerized system if required, to ensure our clients are invoiced correctly.
•Analyze and resolve problems about invoicing and ensure a follow-up with the client.
•Communicate with the appropriate credit card company when required.
•Work in collaboration with the Collections staff, the Sales Department, the Product Development Department and the Customer Service Department.
•Carry out other related tasks according to the department’s needs and your job progress.
•College diploma or professional certification in Administration or an equivalent discipline
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Customer Service
•Bilingual: English and French, oral and written, is essential because the majority of our clients are Anglophones
•Knowledge of the Office Suite
•Invoicing experience in Financial Operations will be considered an asset
