Tasks and Responsibilities
You will have to promote and sell various business solutions products and services to business customers calling in to get information on services such as: access IP, Internet Services, E-Commerce, web hosting solutions, Desk top security, Business back-up solutions, voice services, Services without-costs etc.
You will be required to carry out a data analysis on the client's business/company and on its telecommunications needs or services used with their provider and will have to figure out how to improve its global solutions for telecommunications services and how to increase the company’s satisfaction towards their provider. You will also have to propose special offers, new services and/or products (NPI).
You will be required to maintain a high level of knowledge of the products and of the competition, including the evolution of technological trends in products and services that you will be promoting. That being said, the company will give you the tools necessary to do this, but your initiative and know-how will also be put to good use.
Essential qualities and required skill set
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong sales experience /able to successfully demonstrate sales knowledge
Charming personality mastering the ability to make a connection with people
Understanding of the “psychology of buying”, aware of what makes a customer buy a product or service
Possess an insatiable curiosity and appetite for learning, constantly looking to take your technique to the next level
Great customer service
Ability to establish strong customer-client relationships over the phone
Knowledge/understanding of a small or medium size business environment
Good knowledge of MS Office applications and general computer skills (including knowledge of the Internet and social media)
Ability to work in a computerized environment which is constantly progressing
Active listening skills
Motivation and strong desire to succeed
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously by : listening and reflecting on solutions to offer to the client while entering data at the same time
Knowledge of cloud computing and it’s software as a service (SaaS)
Work experience as a sales adviser or call center agent (outbound/inbound)
Hourly wage: 15,25$ (includes a $1.75 premium on worked hours)
Other forms of compensation: Commission / performance based compensation
Number of hours per week: Between 20 and 40 hours
Bilingual and weekend premiums also available. After 6 months of service: RRSP + Comprehensive insurance (medical, dental and life insurance) + great discounts on telecommunications products and services
