A. Drives the growth of sales and profits for the dedicated territory / customers with the support of other team members
B. Collaborates to the preparation of the regional budget and meets team and individual sales & gross profit objectives through client service/ relationship excellence.
C. Applies time and resources to high potential, high probability prospects.
D. Develops and maintains strong, trusting, loyal working relationships with customers (from buyer/ engineering to top management), principles and team members.
E. Creates & delivers high caliber technical, training and commercial presentations.
F. Actively listens to clients, observes and influences behaviors and portrays a professional image.
G. Contributes to a winning team environment by personal actions and commitment to company values as communicated.
H. Resolves problems of a technical and commercial nature with minimal support from vendors and other team members.
I. Seeks to understand client’s needs and business.
J. Understands market pricing and competition. Strives to sell on value vs. price.
K. Develops, presents and effectively closes large projects to components proposals.
L. Self-motivated, autonomous, plans & organizes calls & self to make efficient use of resources.
M. Performs other duties as required
A. Engineering Bachelor of Science, Community College diploma or equivalent work based experience.
B. Prior outside technical sales experience: 15 years minimum in the electrical energy sales field
C. Prior Experience in managing a sales budget: 5 years minimum
D. Driven to deliver results, excellent communications skills, creative & autonomous.
E. Has facility to meet people and have discussions, make presentations
F. Understanding of the companies and competitor’s electrical products and services.
G. Computer literacy, working knowledge of relevant hardware and software packages. Experience with a Customer Relationship software preferred.
H. Working knowledge of estimating, quoting and returns for product and service.
I. Knowledge of drawings, bill of materials, specifications and standards.
J. Proven ability to provide superior sales service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long-term customer satisfaction.
K. Bilingual, spoken and written
L. The Employee must provide a home office to work from
