  • • Prepare and be at ease with legal correspondence and legal documents
    • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
    • Schedule appointments, meetings and conferences
    • Set up and maintain filing systems, utilizing knowledge of legal records and procedures and frequently controlling confidential materials and documents
    • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments or organizations
    • Attend meetings or conferences to take notes and minutes
    • Perform other general office and administrative tasks
    • Assist lawyers in the preparation of various legal documentation
    • Research records and other legal documents
    • Draft legal correspondence and perform general office and clerical duties.
    • Very complete benefits package paid by the employer
    • 35 hour work week


  • Important - 3 years experience in the legal field
  • Essential - Bilingual English and French
  • Essential - Legal training

Knowledge and abilities

  • Essential - Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Important - Great team spirit
