Product Development Coordinator

FOR RECENT GRADUATE!
Responsible for the product development activities primarily with food service disposables & recyclables. Manage research, development, outsourcing & quality control to ensure that the final products are suitable for commercial production.This role reports the President and interacts with various levels of the organization
Prepare the specification sheets and ensure that they are respected;
Work closely with many departments to get all the required information for the product to be marketable ( sales, purchasing, graphic arts, etc.)
Initiate outsourcing initiatives with existing & new vendors & review manufacturers proposal, quotes, pricing;
Ensure tight project management;
Provide support to the sales team in preparation of customer presentations & promotional activities;
Monitor quality of final product prior to first production;
Track and maintain performance metrics of new products;
Work with the Graphic Arts department to approve final packaging, general appearance, legal & general information found on product;
Experience, skills & education:
Bachelor degree;
1 to 2 years of general administrative experience;
Bilingual;
Able to manage priorities, dead lines and multiple projects;
Detail oriented
