Maintenance Supervisor

Hourly/yearly wage : 55000 - 65000

Our client, a company specializing in the food industry, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in the West Island.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising 5 maintenance employees
- Coordinating all activities related to the maintenance of technical equipment
- Implementing and upholding new preventative maintenance programs
- Assigning work to your team on the production line
- Communicating with different departments to ensure the maximum output of work schedules
- Motivating and keeping your team technically knowledgeable
The right candidate has the following:
- DEC in the electromechanical field or bachelor's degree in engineering (or a related field)
- 5-8 years of pertinent experience in a supervisory role
- Good knowledge of the field - an asset
- Good bilingualism (French/English)
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Access
- Experience in a unionized environment - an asset
- Good organizational skills
