• Job Summary:
  The candidate will contribute to the integration of solutions for Miranda’s customers worldwide.
  
  Responsibilities:
  Design and develop systems for our customers needs, based on one or more Miranda’s products
  Review customer requirements (Proposals, design documentation or ECR’s) and help prepare functional specifications, design documents (revised), time estimates and schedules
  Responsible for ensuring that component are developed, integrated, tested and deployed as specified
  Responsible for software, design, code unit test & integration of components
  Participate to system deployments
  
  Professional and Personal Qualifications
  Excellent English written communication skills
  Ability to verbally communicate in both French & English
  Proven track record of successfully working in team environment which develops hardware and software systems
  Ability to work within a team environment (in general)
  Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time
  Self motivated
  
  Competencies:
  
  The ideal candidate meets these competencies:
  
  Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science
  Strong object oriented programming
  Strong knowledge of IP communication standards, especially multicast and streaming applications
  Knowledge of multimedia systems considered an asset
  Knowledge of video standards considered an asset
  Knowledge of TV broadcast equipment (Automation, switchers, routers, etc) considered an asset
  
  Professional Experience
  Experience with integration and deployment of large distributed systems
  Experience with Linux & Windows operating systems
  Experience in software development
  Experience with Javascript or VB Script
  Experience with network management, control and security
  Experience with video and audio streaming
  Experience with Relational Databases
  Experience with video and audio broadcast equipment
