The Recruiter is responsible for partnering with Human Resources and business leaders from multiple business units throughout North America to proactively drive talent acquisition strategies and perform lifecycle recruiting for a broad range of positions to meet current and future business needs. The Recruiter identifies recruitment resources including internal and external partners and will provide direct sourcing activity with budgetary guidelines. The Recruiter screens and carefully selects candidates that successfully meet the qualifications for the desired position.
Work closely with Human Resources to develop recruitment strategies to source and present qualified candidates to the hiring managers;
Partner with the business leaders to understand business needs to ensure recruitment strategies are consistent and cost effective while leading to effective time to fill results;
Continuously explores new prospects and business leads to assist in growing the candidate pools;
Work with HR Business partners and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly defined to ensure candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria;
Source candidates through various channels and effectively build talent communities;
Participate in recruitment, interview, selection and negotiation of offers to candidates;
Screen and carefully select candidates that successfully meet the qualifications for the desired position;
Effectively manage multiple open positions ranging from executive level positions to entry level opportunities;
Educate and coach hiring managers on interview techniques;
Interface with vendors and recruitment agencies to ensure adherence to program terms and conditions;
Ensure compliance of the applicant tracking system and track and report recruiting metrics. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, industrial relation or equivalent;
CHRP or HR certifications are preferred;
Strong capabilities in strategic planning, process implementation and strong problem solving skills is critical;
Strong consultative, interpersonal, analytical and oral and written communication skills;
Ability to exercise good judgment in a decentralized environment;
Must be able to leverage social and professional networking for lead cultivation;
3-5 years experience in the human resources field with an emphasis on recruiting;
Experience in and having direct responsibility for full-cycle sourcing, recruiting and hiring;
High level knowledge of applicant tracking systems, preferably Taleo;
Recruitment in environmental industry a plus.
