    The main responsibilities of the job holder are to help the Human Resources Director carry out their tasks and advise the managers on the application of the collective bargaining agreement, policies, practices and programs relating to human resources and labor relations management activities, for all our business units in Canada.


    RESPONSIBILITIES :
    Support the Human Resources Director in global labor relations management;
    Counsel and support the HR and local management teams on questions related to Employee relations, Labor relations, Interpretation of collective agreements, Performance management and Disciplinary measures;
    Act as the spokesperson during collective bargaining negociation;
    Respond to any customer query (managers and employees) on the current administrative programs, processes, policies and application of the different collective agreements;
    Process and monitor work-related accident cases (CSST - Occupational Health and Safety Commission - compensation aspect);
    Establish and maintain positive and constructive communication and labor relations with the HR team, local management teams and union representatives;
    Manage the grievance process for all entities and support the Human Resources Director in the case preparation for arbitration;
    Manage grievance and disciplinary measures investigation;
    Maintain up to date all related tracking tools about labor relations KPIs;
    Assist and support the Human Resources Director in collective agreement negotiations;
    Participation in different special projects in labor relations;
    Participation and support the other members of the HR department for special enquiries;
    Any other related tasks. Qualifications

    Undergraduate university degree in HRM or labor relations;
    Bilingualism (spoken and written);
    Certified member of CRIA or CRHA (an advantage);
    The candidate must be available for travelling at a maximum of 25% of his time;
    Customer-oriented approach;
    Ability to analyze and summarize;
    Leadership;
    Autonomy, initiative and flexibility;
    Well-organized and capable of managing several projects simultaneously;

    Experience/Knowledge
    5 to 8 years’ experience in labor relations in a similar position;
    Experience as being a spokesperson during bargaining;
    Knowledge of Canadian labor laws (especially Quebec);
    Knowledge and experience in CSST case management (Quebec);
    Experience in working in a multi-site environment;
    Proficient in MS Office applications.
